A Safe Place to GROW
Welcome to the kids ministry at Bethany Nazarene Church! We are a ministry that is GATHERING – GROWING – GOING.
BNC Kids has a rich heritage from a church family that continually pours love and support into our children. We are excited to meet regularly with some of the youngest believers at BNC. You can rest assured that your child is being cared for by some of the best volunteers.
Each volunteer must pass a background check, pastor-parishoner interview and have references on file. We also offer year-round opportunities to complete safety training and equipping opportunities.
We Strive to GATHER | GROW | GO
GATHERING – We find it SO important to have regular times to meet together for a carefully planned time of worship. We use this time to engage God’s Word, pray together and hear the needs of the children we are privileged to minister to.
GROWING – What would we be if we just met but never found room to allow God to move in us and help us GROW? Kids are growing in so many ways and we want to insure that while they are at BNC Kids, spiritual growth is a top priority!
GOING – You will find that we are a ministry that is on the GO! We come alongside children and help them understand they aren’t just the church of tomorrow but they are the church of TODAY! We are called to serve and so we look to provide opportunities to do just that. Children are equipped to take their faith outside the walls of the church and GO and be the church to those around them.
Little Lambs Nursery
Our youngest family members start in our Little Lambs Nursery. Every Sunday, our volunteer "Shepherds" will teach, play and worship with your infant and/or toddler. We have quarterly units that we teach from that have a specific Bible verse that we work with these little ones with. We NEVER want to waste a moment to love and minister to these Little Lambs, which is why we see this as a ministry rather than childcare.
Mission Control Kids
On Sundays, our PreSchool and Kindergarteners spend the worship hour in "Outer Space"! That's right, our little astronauts take a trip to explore more of God's great creation and what's in the Word. Don't worry though, we will make sure the ship lands back by the end of service just in time for you to pick your little one up.
Kingdom Kids LIVE
Every Wednesday our kids age 3 - 5th grade get to experience a road trip down Route 66 as they explore every book of the Bible! With experienced teachers and lively worship, this is a time your kids WILL NOT want to miss. Join us on Facebook LIVE every Wednesday at 7:00pm.
BNC Quiz KIDS
Every Sunday at 9:45am, our kids gather to study scripture in depth. This is a fun time for kids to test their knowledge and have a fun competition with other children from across Kansas at our AREA and DISTRICT quizzes.
We have 2 fun age groups that meet and compete. Red Level is for kids 1st - 3rd and Blue Level for kids 4th - 5th Grade.
